Fantastic Pchum Ben

Pchum Ben is the most remarkable festival
in Cambodian culture. It is also a religious festival which is celebrated in pagodas. During Pchum Ben time, people always go to their hometown.
Last year I and my family went to visit my native village, which is in Kampong Cham province.
We went to stay there for three days, two days before the main. Festival started. We bought clothes, food and fruit to give the old people to pray for our ancestors. Moreover, every night we went to the pagoda to listen to the monks 'preaching and prayer.
It was really wonderful to meet the people. They, were wearing beautiful traditional clothes and were happy.
The happiest time was having a party with friends and relative. It was really fantastic to visit hometown during Pchum Ben festival and it was a brilliant experience in my life.
